(San Francisco, CA) – November 22, 2016 – Holiday haters rejoice! The San Francisco Dungeon’s cast of surly Barbary Coast characters offer a multitude of ways to escape the horrors of the holidays – crowded shopping malls, annoying family visits, and sappy Christmas movies. Hang with them in the Dungeon this holiday season for a “Presents for Prisoners” Toy Drive, and an updated twist on “bloodletting” with the American Red Cross. Here come the details:
What: “Presents for Prisoners” Children’s Toy Drive benefits Project Avary
When: Now through December 16, 2016
Why: Benefits Project Avary that offers long-term support, resources, guidance and training for children with incarcerated parents
How: Tease and taunt despicable San Francisco Dungeon prisoners with an unwrapped toy and Sgt. Gunter will donate them all to Project Avary, a Bay Area non-profit that supports the children of incarcerated parents. He’ll also grant you 50% off a tour of The Dungeon, including the new Escape Alcatraz drop ride and show where lucky prisoners jump to freedom from The Rock. Look for the “Presents for Prisoners” donation bin in The Dungeon’s lobby and drop a toy; presents will be delivered to children in time for Christmas. Sorry, prisoners…
